Jack Jekyll brings the stompy bouncing hardcore vibes on his debut EP on 4 The Core Recordings.

'Hardcore Composer' opens up with some G Hip Hop that quickly transforms into a fest of foot stomping with an interlude of Nookie style melodic piano.

'My Heart' busts a hyperspeed think break with some dark menacing growls. The think break is switched for a doubled up funky drummer and spooky chipmunk vocals. We enter the jungle for the 3rd act of a stripped back beast of a tune!

'Never Had Acid Trip' opts for an SMD style JB break and 94 Hardcore kicks and amens. No prizes for guessing this is a 303 filled rave monster with eerie overtones, its hardcore Jim but happy it ain't, banging it is!!!

'Take You Higher' borrows just a little from the classic 'Drowning In You' mainly in terms of the deep atmosphere. The breaks ricochet and rebound around a deep, loud sub bass. Dubby chords float around this potent mix with the voice of Baby D making the odd appearance here and there.
